Hello and welcome to Acora’s Weebly page, a site filled with related information and posts.
About Acora
Acora is a leading provider of IT services to mid-range clients, primarily in the financial services, manufacturing and distribution sectors. It provides a fully comprehensive service, including IT outsourcing, IT strategy consulting and business application provision and support.
IT Outsourcing
This is one of Acora’s core strengths. The company believes that the outsourcing of the IT function allows clients to grow and thrive without the constraints of having to manage their IT. As it works primarily with agile mid-sized clients – those who employ between 50 and 1,500 people – it understands that any IT solutions need to be equally agile.
Acora listens carefully to clients to ascertain their needs, then builds an outsourcing strategy which is tailor-made. This organisation has the flexibility to take on as much or as little of the client’s IT function as is required.
Service desk
Acora’s Service desk is staffed with technical experts who can resolve infrastructure or end user problems, and is available 24/7/365. The team provides support to more than 20,000 end users and is accredited to ISO standards.
Service management
To complement its service desk function, Acora has available a range of components which allow it to manage, monitor and report on IT delivery. Clients can choose from a range of tools, such as capacity management, problem management and asset management, and only need to select the services which they really need.
Infrastructure management
Acora has a whole range of services to manage clients’ infrastructure. It can monitor or manage operating systems, storage and backup, as well as databases and networks. There is also the flexibility to include extra elements, such as more detailed reporting.
Social responsibility
As part of its corporate responsibility, Acora supports a selection of charities. It has raised funds for Children in Need, Alzheimer’s Research and the British Heart Foundation. Planned future events include a tea party in support of Marie Curie, and a team of Acora staff is also about to undertake the Three Peaks Challenge.
